Ok, I happened to remember this fic when I was reading one of the new submissions to blackraptor. I can't find it though, so help would be appreciated...

The ATF crew are going on a trip and take two cars. They get lost and when they stop, Erza heads to the porta-potty. Everyone piles in the cars and they leave, each driver thinking Erza is in the other car. Ezra comes out of the outhouse and thinks this is a joke. He then realizes he's been left, gets angry, and ends up walking a long way to a diner in the rain.

Why this must be read: This is a very lovely post season one fic. It's Angel, getting aftercare instructions for Cordelia and Wesley and reflecting on everything they've been through. Wesless' Angel voice is very true to the character. He's lost, confused, trying to figure out where to go after learning about the Shanshu prophecy. He reflects on Cordelia taking on the visions from Doyle and her plea that they had to help everyone she heard. He thinks about Wesley and how much the man has endured in the service of a creature he once vowed to destroy. It's gorgeous and shows the reader how much Angel really sees in the world around him.

A Necessary Hurt.

So, aureliapriscus has been cursing me because I've been dragging her with me as I wander through Marvel fandom. First she cursed me because I made her like Tony. Then she cursed me because, in the course of me catching up on Avengers canon, she has been unwillingly indoctrinated with all the identities and histories of all the Avengers.

Just recently we reached a new level of cursing, because now she isn't just being dragged around by me, now she's found her own tangents. First it was Nick Fury. Then, Cable and Deadpool.

This is where the karmic part comes in.

She was laughing so hard over them that I got curious. And then she bought a trade. And then I read the trade. And then she gave me the rest of them to read. And now I am reading Cable and Deadpool. *headdesk*

Deadpool is funny as hell, Cable is made of awesome, and they are hysterically and blatantly slashy.

But I still like Steve and Tony best. *g*

Thank God there's a limited amount of Cable and Deadpool (the title) out there. I'm following 8 titles and 4 miniseries already...

ok so I read this fanfic about mikey and ray forever and a day ago.
In it mikey was a tv porn show host or something he was on tv and naked. and ray would allways watch the show then they met and then fell in love and i would love to read it again.

Sassafras finally peed and I was able to bottle it. I rushed to the vet and handed it over. The tech left me standing there while she took it to the back. When she came back another tech was with her and they were talking about the weird package the second tech had just opened. It contained a gas mask, some rice, some white powder, and a letter that said the sender wanted to warn her to protect her family. They kind of joked about it, and I said, "You do know that you need to call 911, shut off your AC system, and evacuate the building, right?"

They shrugged and said, "Everyone's in the office looking at it right now."

I swear to you, I reeled back from the counter and said, "I gotta go. Call with the results of the test," and fled the building.

Yeah, it might just be baby powder or something, but is it worth the risk?

Lex hated being wrong, tried to avoid arguments unless he was sure he could prove he was right. It was why he didn't often engage in moral debates, they always left him feeling unsatisfied. But this... this was something he had been waiting for, patiently until he was absolutely sure he couldn't lose. This would be the payoff to every lie he'd been told since that day on the bridge. The taste of victory was so sweet and heavy on his tongue that he had trouble forming the words.

"I have your phone number, Clark." He crossed his arms, leaning back against the railing of the balcony, waiting for a reaction.

The tolerant chuckle wasn't the reaction he'd been expecting. In his head there had been more stammering and blushing, something more Clark-like. Of course, Lex hadn't talked to Clark in years, but that was beside the point. It was still him; Lex was sure of it.

"So close, but never quite there. That was always your problem, Luthor." From anyone else, it would have been an intended insult. Superman merely sounded like he was making a curious observation. "Clark was never as mysterious as you wanted him to be and I'm much more complicated than you've ever given me credit for," he said.

"Give it up, Clark." Lex frowned. "I have evidence, you can't try and lie your way out of this."

Superman smiled again. "Can I tell you a secret?" He looked over his shoulder, out over the Metropolis skyline, before turning back to face Lex, his expression one of wistful amusement. "I'm not Clark."

Stumble Out Of The Dark

So, I'm in the mood for angsty post-Alex Barnes debacle recs (darn Aly with her Running on Empty stories...)  You know the ones, where Blair is actually angry with Jim for being a jerk and Jim has to do something to make up for it (like talk about his feelings, *gasp*). J/B slash or gen. 

Before everyone's heads explode from the bazillion of possible stories however,  I should note that I've read 99% of the stories on 852 Prospect and most of the older classics as well, so I'm really looking for the stories that aren't recced as often, are only found on alternate archives or LJ, or really, really new stories that I might not have found yet.

I feel like there should be fic in which Alex DeLeon starts outlining a fanfiction story in which he replaces all the characters of The Faculty with his own band, and accidentally slashes himself with Marshall (who is clearly Delilah), and then tries to fix it by changing the story, and then ends up slashing himself with Cash (who is clearly Zeke), however he's quite pleased with how he's made Johnson the queen of the aliens, because Johnson is just the sort of dude who'd secretly be an alien. Or something. I don't know, that movie always fucks with my head. It's not actually good, but there's something about it that keeps me watching whenever I catch it.

I'm looking for the one set on Earth, I'm pretty sure right after season 1, where Rodney hires a prostitute who looks like John, I'm fairly sure his name is Brad?, and Rodney insists on rough masochistic sex where he apologizes, or maybe makes Brad apologize, and then it ends with John finding out and a happy ending... and even with all these details my search skills have completely and utterly failed! Help?
